Making Therapy Productive

Making Therapy Productive

Our in-house physical, occupational, and speech therapists have over 90 combined years of geriatric and sports medicine experience. They oversee individualized programs that work toward restored functioning and engagement. Advanced neuromuscular stimulation equipment as well as ultrasound and electromagnetic treatments retrain muscles and heal wounds.

The new gym features shock-absorbing flooring and a patio, kitchen, laundry, and full bath to prepare patients to resume activities of daily living. A Mercedes Benz “therapy car” provides transfer and mobility training. Exercise and training equipment, including electrically adjustable parallel bars, hi-low therapy platforms, computerized treadmill, Nu-Step, and Wii gaming system, rebuild strength and agility.

On request, a Lexington therapist will visit a patient's home to make recommendations for the transition back to independent living. Our graduates tell us Lexington made it possible for them to “live their lives again.”
